Make Yourself at Home!

Please treat the apartment and its furnishings with the same care you would your own home. We kindly ask you not to move the furniture, except if you wish to join the two separate beds together. To protect the furniture and work surfaces, please do not place hot pots, pans, or other hot items directly on the dining table or kitchen countertop.

If anything is accidentally damaged or broken during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible. We greatly appreciate open communication and will always do our best to resolve any situation in a simple and fair manner.

Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to the apartment, the shared areas of the property, and their furnishings or equipment.

Use of the Garden and Jacuzzi

• The garden is an island of peace — please use it in a way that does not disturb others.

• The jacuzzi may be used between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, and between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Please do not operate it during the afternoon siesta period or late in the evening.

• Please do not leave food, drinks, or trash in the garden, otherwise the birds may leave some unpleasant surprises behind.

Wellness Area – Shared Enjoyment, Shared Responsibility

A shared rooftop swimming pool and sun terrace are available to residents and guests every day between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

Please respect the peace and privacy of other guests and help keep the area clean. Swimwear is required, and we recommend wearing flip-flops and using a towel. Please always shower before entering the pool and use the foot shower if necessary.

For safety reasons, glass bottles, drinking glasses, and other breakable items are not permitted in the pool area.

Please use the sun loungers and all other facilities with care, and leave them clean and tidy so that the next guests can enjoy them as well.

The use of the swimming pool is at your own risk. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times while in or around the pool. Ball games, running, jumping, and playing loud music are not permitted in the pool area.

If you use the fitness equipment, please leave it clean and tidy after use.

Selective Waste Collection

In Italy, waste separation and recycling are taken very seriously. In front of the building, you will find containers for PAPER, PLASTIC & METAL, and GENERAL WASTE. About 100 meters from the apartment (turn right after leaving the building, at the end of the street), you will find the GLASS and ORGANIC WASTE containers. You will find a small key in the apartment that can be used to open and close them.

The biggest difference compared to waste collection at home is that all food leftovers and biodegradable waste must go into the organic waste container. There is also a very useful local app — if you are unsure where something belongs, simply scan the product barcode and the app will tell you which container to use.

Laundry room

A shared laundry room is available in the basement of the building, equipped with both a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Please always leave the machines clean and tidy after use. In particular, remember to empty the dryer's lint filter after each cycle. Once your laundry has finished, please remove it promptly so that other residents and guests can also use the machines.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire building, except in the open area of the rooftop terrace and in the private garden. If you smoke, please be considerate of neighboring apartments, always use an ashtray, and do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.

Pets

As much as we love animals, Giardino Verde is unfortunately not a pet-friendly accommodation. Since cleanliness, the comfort of guests with allergies, and the peace of the other residents are important to us, we are unable to accommodate pets — even if they are very cute, “do not bark,” or are small and “hardly shed at all.”

We know this may be disappointing for some guests, but for now this is the policy we have chosen — thank you for your understanding!
